Dare to keep kids off Pope

Putt-Putt Purgatorio
Okay, so John Paul II may not have been my favorite guy ever...But you know what, in retrospect, at least he didn't look like the very image of malevolence, eh?

I mean, if THAT guy doesn't want to eat your soul on a bed of rice, I don't know who does.

Look at him. LOOK AT HIM! We're talking Pope Palpatine, here.

Yeesh, Catholicism, do you just enjoy being creepy, or what?

They should have used some bionics on the last one. I'd rather have the Six-Million Dollar Pope than this creepy looking guy.

Did you see [info]metaphorge's icon where he merges the images of Darth Sideous and this guy?

And I was just thinking to myself that I would love to create a morphing image of the new Pope and the Emperor. Frightening!

Hey, I was banking that they would vote on the sexiest possible Pope. I mean, did you see the younger John Paul II?
I was shocked when I saw him!

Fancy seeing you here.

Come here often?

Say, is that a baby in your stomach or are you just pleased to see me?

If I get fired over uncontrollable fits of the giggles, I am blaming you and my friend Ben, who posted this: http://www.livejournal.com/users/benchilada/61165.html

I swear, I have tears leaking out of my eyes trying to keep the laughter in.

Yeah, and compared to the last pope this one looks like he has the ability to act on his thoughts.

My fave quote pertaining to the new Pope, thus far:

"Gosh, he could be Voldemort."

Palpatine! That's it. I've been racking my brain since he was announced trying to figure out who he looked look...I knew it was Star Wars.

My originaly thought was Yoda, if you dropped the little bugger in acid.

Pope Palpatine has creepy hands...he held them in an "eat your soul" kind of way when he was announced.

I had a PJP II calendar - with 12 real pictures of the last pope in cowboy hats for example and rocking out with the people, and I can't imagine this guy has any sense of humour at all. When I saw him step out on the balcony, he seemed so imperial and had this sense of arrogance and arrival. He's just ugly and majorly scary to look at!

But hey, he's 78 and so perhaps he wont be around for all that long *s*

I know he's the head of people's faith and all but when I saw him on the balcony I thought the same thing only mine was more like:

"Oooo, he looks brooding and imperial. It's gonna be fun to watch him send people to the mines."

Kid you not, it's word for word what I thought.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
You're so right.

No pope should be allowed to have pointy ears and forelock...and what's with the sunken eyes?
