Your podcasts rock!
And I'm pimpin' 'em out to all my friends.

Thanks muchly! I'm so thankful for any pimpin' I can get with these things. They're so much fun to do and I know that the right audience would eat them up. ;)

I'm glad they're fun for you to do. 'Cause I have so much fun listening to them (over and over again and again) that I almost feel guilty. hehe, almost. :)

Hmm, I must remember to hug the Ashke very much for pimping you ages ago. I don't think I've ever properly thanked him for that. :)

It's funny because he and I met originally via me sending him mix tapes back in the days before CD burners, so music figured heavily into him getting to know me, too.

I'm so glad to hear that you listen to them several times. That makes me happy happy. I've got lots more on the way. It's so hard to keep them as short as they are because I have so much material that I want to add.

That's so cool! I had no idea how y'all met and got to know each other. This explains at least a portion of his fabulous taste in music! *grin*

I'll keep listening as long as you keep making them. And of course I'll keep pimping them, too! Then we're all happy happy!

Um. I like. But where's the cast part? Where's the spoken word M-A hilarity? I'm sure your spoken words are hilarity... the written ones are halfway decent! Do it. Tell poop jokes. Wow me.

Writers are not performers. Or at least I am not.

Hmm. I've got an insatiable need for constant approval, so I don't know what you mean.

I am not fond of attention and don't fucking need anyone's approval, so I don't know what you mean.

Aren't poets writers? Don't poets perform? You may not perform, but I'm sure I could persude you with a video camera, a bear suit and a small monkey.

I'm also living the Duck and Cover quotes. I'm assuming you got it from the movie on archive.org, there is as small (but still amusing) debate on the usefulness of the information. Was it for those in within the blast radius or those outwith it?

Not all poets perform, no. And the truth is that my creativity just works better in tandem with my hands than with my mouth.

The Duck & Cover song is fairly well-known here.

In keeping with Boom I Fucked Your Boyfriend, I'd recommend a little Baltimore club music, which is equally hilarious. Have you heard Beat That Bitch with a Bat?

Hmmmm...I've not heard that. By "club," am I to assume that it's dance music, though? I'm generally not much of a fan of that.

M.A.:

Is it okay to link to this? I mentioned it to one friend, but I'll post it to my journal for others to check out if it's okay with you...

Sure thing! Just link to this post. I'd be honored!

BTW, you just may want to warn people that it's mostly adult material and some of it may offend the easily or semi-easily offended ;)

I downloaded 1-A, and really liked it, 'specially the second half. I'll pimp the podcasts in my journal sometime, if that's good with you :)

I have no idea if it's in your iTunes or not. You have to download it here, then put it in your iTunes folder...

oooh.... you can't just go to the music store and subscribe then? alright :) I'm excited!

No...I couldn't do that because they're underground and technically illegal. Only "podsafe" or basically corporate-sponsored, label-made podcasts be be subscribed to via iTunes.

I am suprised it took this long for MSI to show up.

And I had not heard that Dar song in a long time. I think my ipod hates it or something. Made me happy.

running commentary
the cut into Soon Love Soon was great. Not sure why I felt it was great, but I do. Just so you know.

I've been wanting to put MSI in from the beginning but it kept getting delayed because other stuff came up that I couldn't resist. Plus, they're better known than most of the stuff that I have been playing, so I figured I would go for the more obscure first.
