Today, the Fourth of July, is the greatest of the American patriotic holidays. Thanks to the superior American educational system, I can hold my head high and say that I know the history of this fine day in glorious detail. I’m sure that my fellow Americans – having been blessed by that same, great educational complex - also know it well, but for the benefit of our foreign friends, I present to you a summary:
