I love Fred Phelps and his zany cultish clan of hatemongering zonkoids. Especially now that they're all anti-war, anti-troops, anti-America and anti-everything else that most windbag patriot Americans are for. I love that ostensibly, by screeching hate and death to both queers and soldiers, Phelps and crew force the hard Right clingers to side with us a little more each time they show their faces. Thanks, Fred. You're doing a bang-up job.



Without question, watch all six installments. His sermon in one of the last bits is especially telling. Phelps preaches that the terrorists are God and that Bush, the anti-Christ, has been lured into/picked a fight with God. That's simultaneously hilarious, terrifying and saddening. I'm curious to know about the family members who have run away, to find new lives in the outside, non-loon world.
